I was born in Buenos Aires, raised in Los Angeles, and spent much of my life in between places. Photography became a way to make sense of that movement and hold on to the parts of the world (and eras) I may never experience again.
I shoot digitally, but I’m drawn to the atmosphere and sense of memory found in film. My work ranges from candid documentary photography to abstract art. I look for unusual perspectives and unexpected occurrences that can make an ordinary place feel interesting. I also like to show people honestly, in their natural state, rather than the carefully constructed versions of themselves they like to present to the camera.
I want every image to have its own reason for existing. It might stir a feeling, make a statement, or reveal something about how I see the world.
Curiosity and experimentation matter more to me than rules or gear.
I take my work seriously, but not myself.
